The Seawings fleet consists of three Cessna 208 Caravan Seaplanes which take off from its operating bases, located in convenient parts of Dubai. The aircraft are equipped with luxury leather seating, large windows for each seat and air-conditioned cabin. The Seawings experience offers its guests a whole new perspective on the country with panoramic views of some of the world’s most iconic landmarks and stunning landscape.
Seawings provides aerial tours and packages to destinations such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. History of Seaplanes
Seaplanes were invented by Henri Fabre, however the history of seaplanes in the UAE began in 1937 when the civil aviation signed an agreement to base a flying boat of Imperial Airways with a rental fee of about 440 Rupees/month.
Seaplanes are now a common part of the Dubai skyline, no longer the strange sight that fascinated locals. Seawings remains the only seaplane operator in the UAE and its fleet has grown to three Cessna 208 amphibian aircrafts. Our 45-minute scenic flight swoops past the heritage of the UAE, taking in some of the world's highest and most recognisable buildings. Panoramic views of Dubai offer a timeless look at how the desert has been architecturally transformed, the scorching yellow sun stretching out beside glistening towers and shimmering ocean.
