Summer in Dubai is generally synonymous with heat and humidity, causing mass exodus amongst all those who can afford to take the hottest months off and return home to their countries of origin. If you are staying in Dubai though, you may be surprised by the amount of amazing things that can be done during the hot summer months.
Our Lifestyle Team did a little research into four things that may keep you occupied and entertained. It’s by no means and exhaustive list, but it does show you how you can spend some of your time experiencing the little luxurious treasures that Dubai has on offer. On a side note, our Lifestyle Team can actually book any of these things for you.
1. Seaplane Tours of Dubai
Of course, as this is our tour, we are going to be continuing operations throughout summer. Air-conditioned planes, bottles of water and friendly staff will be the name of the game. We tend to try and avoid the peak heat hours of the day, so flights are generally scheduled in the mornings and late afternoons. Come on, hop on board.
2. Bateaux Dubai
It’s enclosed, it’s luxurious, it’s air-conditioned and it’s an amazing culinary experience. Cruising up and down the Dubai Creek on a French built glass enclosed boat is quite majestic. Book a luxury car to pick you up and drop you off to avoid the hassle of having to look for a cab and stand in the heat, it’s worth it.
3. Rent a Private Yacht
When the heat comes down, the people go swimming. Rent a luxurious yacht, sail out into the Arabian ocean and spend a few hours with friends and family living the highlife. Make it extra special and arrange a limousine pick up and drop off service. It’s something that everyone in Dubai has to experience at least once.
4. Treat yourself to a spa day
Everyone else is away, so the chances of getting a booking are great. Take a break from the hustle and bustle and relax in the magical hands of the team at the Amara Spa, Park Hyatt Dubai Creek. They will ensure your every need is taken care of while you take in the splendor of the surroundings. Who says summer has to be boring.
I hope these few things inspire you to get out and about this summer. As more ideas come in, we will be sure to post them here. Keep coming back.
